In WEEK 05 of Computer Animation Fundamentals with Serra Ozdemir, I presented all my mood boards, including colours, props, set ideas, shot references, and some video material. Based on this review, she felt the concept was strong but advised me to focus more on set design rather than animation. She explained that
“Animating complex elements like dancers would be very time-consuming and might take away from the quality of the final outcome”.
“She encouraged me to prioritise environment and visual design, and she approved my concept with this adjustment in mind”.
