In Week 20 of Advanced 3D Computer Animation, Professor Nigel Mairs guided me to complete my final submission of my thesis proposal. Before submitting the final document, I conducted a final review of the entire proposal, checking the structure, academic writing, Harvard referencing, and the consistency of my arguments.
I ensured that each section, including the introduction, literature review, methodology, chapter outline, and draft chapter, remained connected to the main research question of who controls player-created avatars within commercial digital platforms. I made final adjustments to improve clarity and maintain a strong critical perspective throughout the research.
Step 1: Final Research Proposal Submission
The completion of this proposal represented the development of my research from an initial idea about digital ownership into a focused academic study supported by legal documents, platform policies, and scholarly sources. The final submission provided a clear foundation for the further development of my final thesis.
