In WEEK 02 of Computer Animation Fundamentals, Professor Serra Ozdemir introduced me to the concept of World Building inside Unreal Engine. I learned how to create and organise assets, how to work with Folders and sub-folders, and how to arrange objects in a 3D environment. She explained how the Sunlight intensity and direction affect the look of the scene, and how I can adjust these settings to match different moods or times of day.
She also showed me how to change colors, and properties of the objects in the scene. I learned how to manage asset settings, control the light movement, and create an organized structure for a project. Professor Serra also revisited some of the earlier topics like the Epic Games Launcher versions, FABS plugins, and how to manage multiple engine builds. This week gave me a good understanding of how a 3D environment is built and controlled inside Unreal Engine.
FINAL PROJECT (SET AND ENVIRONMENT)
This week, the focus shifted more toward world building. I worked further on developing the environment by thinking about how the set would look as a complete space. I explored whether the setting should be interior or exterior, how the temple surroundings would feel, and how colors and materials could enhance the spiritual mood. I refined my mood boards to include architectural references, textures, and environmental details that helped define the overall setting more clearly.

b) Exterior
